Robin's place is clean and most importantly, beds are comfortable. Neighborhood looks fine, but maybe just our luck that our car got broken into twice. Robin, however, is a great host. Easy to communicate with, she's proactive and responds quickly. Also, loved the small things that other places don't have that makes a big difference, i.e. night light and laundry pods!

Good stay

I had a hysterectomy and we needed somewhere to stay close to the facility since we are from out of state. Climbing upstairs was unfortunate but the closeness of all the rooms was extremely convenient. Definitely would recommend!

Robin is too sweet and ready to help as quickly as possible. The place felt like home.

We recently completed a 15-day stay at Robin’s place in a 2nd floor apartment. We were visiting our son and family and helping them with some home improvement projects. On arrival, we were greeted by fresh flowers on the kitchen table. Though it is an older property, the paint is fresh, with attractive colors. Though we did not eat many meals there except breakfast, the kitchen was adequately equipped, with pretty blue dishes. We were concerned about finding a parking space in front of the building, but in 15 days, we always found a spot in front on our return in the evening. There was a loss of hot water during our stay and the hot water heater had to be replaced, but it was taken care of within 24 hours. The king size bed was quite comfortable. Most days, we were only there in the early am and evening and found it to be very quiet. Robin was helpful and responsive to our questions. In sum, it met our needs very well!

My partner and I had a great stay here! The space is excellent - big open living room, decent kitchen and bathroom, lots of natural light, super comfortable king bed. The place was clean and tidy and had lots of extra touches that made it a great stay, like laundry baskets and detergent. The neighborhood is quiet and just a few blocks from the green line. Robin was so kind and proactive with helpful info about the place.

We only stayed one out of the five nights we paid for, leaving after the first night. The apartment had a strong, pungent smell of sewage. The apartment was in need of a thorough deep clean, had a grimy feel, sticky floors, dirty fridge and cobwebs and stains on the ceilings. We complained to the host and she offered to move us to another unit in the building. This was a smaller one bed apt not suitable for a family of three. We asked to leave and for a refund and were told we were in a contract with them and upholding their cancellation policy. Had we known the apartment had a terrible smell and in need of a proper clean at the time of booking we obviously never would have entered that agreement. Trying to communicate with Robin was like talking to A.I (possibly using Chat GBT to draft her responses due to her total lack of genuine empathy). After unsuccessfully trying to resolve the matter with Robin we contacted Airbnb and were compensated in kind for our negative experience.

I had an excellent stay at Robin’s apartment! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Robin was amazing, responding quickly to any questions I had and making sure everything was perfect for my stay. The location was convenient, and the thoughtful touches made it feel like home. I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again!

Great stay at an affordable price. Was in town for a wedding and one day the WiFi went down. The host was extremely responsive and was troubleshooted within 30 minutes. Will stay here again when I need to return to the twin cities!

This apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were so soft! And there was plenty of seating without being cluttered. I also liked the artwork. We enjoyed staying in what felt like a historic home right in the middle of a vibrant neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again.

Robin was a great host! very responsive, friendly, and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. I appreciated the thoughtful touches of having all the cooking essentials including seasoning/spices ! Made a making meals very easy, cozy & right at home :) Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. I’d definitely stay here again!

No problem with noisy/active area (or highway proximity, hospital, etc. as listed in description) however wasn't prepared for how filthy and unkept the streets/homes on the block were. The interior apartment itself was clean and cared for. The hallway/stairwell though reeked of (stale smoke?) No coffee filters and a USB or universal charger would be nice. Met a nice friendly neighbor in building though. Wasn't comfortable parking a car on street, trash all over blowing in streets on sidewalk/grass, on curb, tampon applicator at base of a tree (walking my dog), misc clothing items scattered along block, cans, bottles, TRASH everywhere, not respected. Uncared for neighborhood and didn't feel safe.

Apartment was just what we needed, easy walk to public transportation to get us wherever we needed to go. Robin was a helpful and very responsive host!

The property is fabulous!!

The place was as advertised and the host was very responsive and really seemed to want to make our stay as nice as possible. The neighborhood was not the greatest but we never felt unsafe, and it was a perfect location for our trip (my wife and daughter ran the Twin Cities Marathon). We effectively paid a higher "special event" rate, so while the price was somewhat high for what we got, I do not attribute that whatsoever to the host, and the place would be well worth the normal daily rate on a non-special event weekend. We also chose the place because we had our dog with us, so we're very appreciative of the host for allowing pets. Overall, we were happy with our stay, and would stay there again.

The place was fine but a little bit dingy. The lighting was dark and the area wasn’t the greatest. Overall still had a good time.

Quaint upper 2 bedroom 1 bath budget friendly apartment. Close to so many things, including all the colleges in St. Paul and pet friendly! Located in a unique neighborhood in transition, don’t expect Rodeo Drive; however all the neighbors were super nice! Hosts were incredibly communicative and super quick to respond to my inquiries.

The apartment was as I expected and the management team was very responsive to questions and was proactive in providing information concerning rules and expectations on their end as well. The property is in the city, so it is louder than I am accustomed too, but the location is convenient to many things.

This spot was a great value, well placed and comfortable, convenient to cafes, restaurants, and transit. The host was responsive and communicative.

We stayed two nights at Robin’s place. The home is an older building but nicely maintained inside. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and we were happy with the communication level provided, as well as the cleanliness and comfort of the home. However, the location left something to be desired in a more rundown area that did not feel very walkable/safe. Quick access to the highway was helpful to get across the twin cities.

It was fine.

The awful smell of the building and the unit is what you're greeted with upon arrival. It was so persistent that we actually stayed in different accommodation on our last night. It smelled like something had died in the wall. The bathroom curtain liner was dingy and gray with filth from previous guests and the white paint on bathroom doorway was brown with handprints and dirt. The kitchen windows were covered with plastic sheets and packing tape, which prevented ventilation and caused the smoke alarm to go off when we cooked. The host was responsive and said they were left up by accident, however there were no screens on the windows so we had to leave the plastic up to prevent insects from getting in and our children falling out. A chair in the kitchen literally fell apart. Both quilts on the beds had visible brown stains. The host was provided photographs of all the above listed issues. This is our worst Air BnB experience in over 10 years.

Nice place in a convenient location.

Inside the place was really nice. The neighborhood and St Paul need some work. It felt unsafe to be there with the people sleeping in the street and broken glass everywhere. It was not a good neighborhood for dogs.

Love this spot! So close to Flava Cafe - a favorite coffee shop in the area!

Robin was a friendly and attentive host. Her space was clean and perfect for what we needed. I appreciated the motion sensor lights in the entryway, stairwell, and basement for laundry, so we didn't have to worry about finding lights! Check in was a breeze. The space was maybe a little older or worn than I had expected, but it was clean, tidy, and as described. Again, Robin was a great host and I would stay here again.

Great stay for the price!

It was great. I really loved how hot the water gets in the shower. The beds were comfortable and the neighbors were nice. The price was perfect for the a weekend stay.

This is a good two bedroom airbnb with everything you need for a simple stay. Everything was clean and yet it had the feeling of just needing a really good deep clean - like the corners and baseboards were dusty. That said the building is old and it is challenging to make an old place look really clean. The apartment doesn't have any frills and has an awkward stair between the kitchen and the living room, all the furniture and amenities are the cheapest ones available - except the bed was nice. The place just is what it is - it's fine. It was easy to park in front of the building, the locks were easy, the stairs were free of snow and ice which is great for MN.

We had another BNB cancel on us last minute and Robin got us right in! Then on check out we forgot a coat and she boxed it up and shipped it to us. Amazing communication and very nice!

The kitchen fully equipped; the towels in each bed, all of this and more are small thoughtful things that we appreciate as a family. Great communication and clean space.

Loved the place. Very easy to get to. Exterior and hallway need some work. Definitely cats in the building. Very clean, if somewhat sparse. Great value for what is available label in the area.
